Vietnamese American Media Network Design/Build and Inaugural Opening Event
In time for the May 1st, 2015 opening of the studios, the VAMN network invited some 250+ guests and dignitaries from the Vietnamese-American community in and around Southern California to celebrate the grand opening of the studios for film, television and photography.
Please check out the Architecture section for the construction process photos for the film studio (1st of two phases). Shown is a white cyclorama (16'x16'x12'h) and a photo-shoot ready, semi permanent brick apartment set designed and built in the style of the latter 1940s NYC (specifically 1948). Further building phases will complete the studio perimeter so as to augment the brick set for a wider shooting stage area; the other side will accommodate makeup, photo backdrops and a large ultra modern living room set overlooking contemporary Manhattan (talk show set). This will be incorporating a multi-flexible sounds stage set that can change set characteristics in a few minutes with 'pop-up style' set walls and portable set dressing objects.
